Chapter 1

During the Dragon Boat Festival, my daughter is almost exhausted

She has been weak and sickly since childhood, and her greatest wish is to have her biological father Fu Sihan accompany her on her birthday.

He only agreed when he couldn't bear my pleading.

He didn't come for my daughter's birthday, and that night she left me with regret.

Afterwards, his first love shared a photo with him: "Only fools use children to tie a man's heart, and I am the only one in his heart."

Everyone is watching my jokes.

I commented coldly, "The dog chain is broken, there's no need to steal shit anymore."

During the Dragon Boat Festival, on the night my daughter left, I appeared unusually calm and silently handled her affairs.

As expected, Fu Sihan would break his promise for Liu Ruyan.

During the six years with Fu Sihan, she only needed one phone call and he was on call.

It doesn't matter what happened this time.

I quickly packed my luggage and left the divorce agreement ready to leave.

Unexpectedly, Liu Ruyan happened to bump into Fu Sihan's car and got off.

"Jiang Jinyan, what are you causing trouble again!"

He slammed the car door and frowned when he saw the luggage I had pulled.

That tone seems like I've always been an unreasonable person.

Liu Ruyan explained in tea language, "Sister Jin Yan, are you blaming Si Han for what happened that day? The injured cub scared me to tears. Si Han came to help take care of it. I didn't know it was your daughter's birthday."

Puppy, her dog.

I just feel sad and ridiculous.

Originally, in Fu Sihan's heart, our daughter was not as important as Liu Ruyan's dog.

His daughter is hospitalized all year round, and he uses busy work as an excuse to rarely visit her.

But there is time to take care of Liu Ruyan's dog.

It is obvious whether to love or not.

"Fu Sihan, let's get divorced."

At the moment my daughter passed away, I lost all the remaining warmth towards Fu Sihan.

Fu Sihan thought I was speaking angrily, "Jiang Jinyan, what kind of play are you playing? It's just a birthday, and it's not a big deal. But when the cub is injured, Ruyan doesn't know anything, and I can't ignore it."

It's just something, it's not a big deal.

He said such things countless times, as long as they were related to his daughter.

I never cared about my daughter.

Or rather, he hates children with my blood flowing on them.

It was an accident when I got pregnant after having a spring snack with him.

Liu Ruyan went abroad and dumped him. He got drunk in a nightclub and was tricked into meeting me.

I had a crush on him and didn't push him away.

That night later, I was engrossed in my graduation thesis and forgot to take medication. It had been three months since I realized it.

My mother is a gambling shrew. She knew I was pregnant with Fu Shao, so she immediately came to her door and asked him to marry me.

Unexpectedly, he agreed and even held a grand wedding.

That period of time was once the happiest time in my life.

Later on, he found out that he was just getting angry with Liu Ruyan.

If it weren't for my appearance, they would have reconciled.

My daughter was diagnosed with hemophilia after birth, and even a slight mistake can easily cause disability and death.

It means I need enough energy and financial support to accompany her.

He can only be bound by marriage.

Fu Sihan detests me and children, but he doesn't explicitly state it.

What can I do?

He can only turn a blind eye and allow him to run towards his first love without hesitation when our mother and daughter need him.

Allow her to provoke and satirize repeatedly.

But my forbearance resulted in their increasing harm.

I've had enough of these days!

"You can do whatever you want, it has nothing to do with me." I gave him a cold glance.

I'm pulling my luggage and leaving.

He seemed to have noticed something, "You haven't contacted me these days. Did your daughter get angry about what happened that day? I can explain."

Angry?

My daughter didn't even have time to expect his love, how dare she be angry with him.

These days, even if he had asked us mother and daughter a little, he wouldn't have said such absurd things.

"No need."

I just turned around and left.

Perhaps before, I had always been humble and pleasing in front of him, never showing a cold attitude towards him.

Fu Sihan chased after me to grab me, but was embraced by Liu Ruyan.

"Si Han, it's not your fault in the first place. It's her deliberate effort to climb your bed, force you to get married, and repeatedly make your child pretend to be sick."

Upon hearing this.

I don't know where the strength came from, but I slapped Liu Ruyan and she stumbled.

"Ah! Brother Sihan, she hit me!"
