Chapter 4

“My kindness is taken for granted.”

Seeing Laurence being humiliated, Dale also got angry.

“Mrs. Austin, I have known Angela for many years. You should believe what I say. This Georgie is a quack. Don’t let him treat Angela.”

I stopped Mrs. Austin who was about to speak for me and looked at Dale’s legs.

“Dale, don’t you find that your legs are more atrophied than before?”

Dale subconsciously covered her legs with a blanket.

“Georgie, what are you talking about? After Laurence gave me the medicine, my legs are much better than before.”

Laurence’s eyes flashed with panic and he stood in front of Dale.

“Georgie, you don’t know anything and you are talking nonsense here. This is a natural reaction after taking the medicine. Dale will be able to stand up in a few days. You can’t even protect yourself. Hurry up and find a way to wake Angela up.”

I smiled and said nothing.

After I fed Angela the blood medicine that day, Mrs. Woodward sent me a video of Laurence preparing the medicine.

In addition to the common medicinal materials, Laurence put a few drops of an unknown liquid in it and there was no label on the bottle.

At this time, there was a sudden movement on the bed.

I hurriedly got up and walked over.

“Angela, are you awake?”

“Georgie?”

Angela blinked, stared at my face and called my name

I was surprised.

“Do you know me?”

Before she could answer me, she pushed the door open and hugged Mrs. Austin.

I left the space for the mother and daughter.

As soon as I walked out of the ward, Mrs. Woodward sent me another video.

Dale’s legs shrank more severely, which must be related to the liquid that Laurence put in the medicine.

Thinking of the last life, Dale vowed that Laurence would be able to cure her by bringing back the Snow Lotus.

I wondered if Dale in this life would forgive Laurence and live with him forever after he destroyed her legs.

Angela had been doing rehabilitation training these days and could walk.

Soon it was the tenth day that Laurence and I had agreed on.

Almost all the families in the Akso City came to the Woodward Family to watch the fun. Almost the entire Akso City participated in this bet.

When Angela and I walked into the banquet hall, the guests widened their eyes in surprise.

“Is this Miss Angela? Am I dazzled? Is she really awake?”

“I bet 600.000 dollars on Laurence to win!”

“The Richardson Family really deserves to be called a miracle doctor. All hospitals say that they can cure hopeless vegetative patients.”

The discussion at the scene made Laurence pale.

He looked at me in disbelief.

“You actually made Angela wake up?”

I sneered.

“You lost, it’s time to fulfill the bet, right?”

The eyes of the crowd fell on him.

“Laurence, you should kneel down to Georgie and admit defeat.”

“Kneel down quickly and leave Linkon as soon as you kneel.”

Laurence looked up at the second floor, his eyes full of anxiety and panic.

“I…”

Just when he was forced to kneel down to me, Dale’s voice suddenly rang out from the second floor.

“Who said we lost?”

Everyone looked up at the voice.

I saw Dale standing at the stairs on the second floor in a high-end dress.

“Oh my God, Dale’s leg is also cured?”

“It seems that Laurence is really good. Even Georgie said that it can’t be cured, but he can succeed.”

“It’s all cured, who wins now?”

Laurence’s eyes showed pride.

“Did you see it? Dale stood up!”

Dale looked down at me from a high position.

“Georgie, you said that no one can cure me, but now I am standing in front of you and you still don’t admit that you are a quack?”

I shook my head.

“Dale, your legs may have been cured, but now they are really hopeless.”

She was furious and gritted her teeth.

“Georgie, I wonder how long you will keep your mouth shut!”

She walked down the stairs.

I counted down silently in my heart.

“One, two, three…”

“Ten.”

With a “bang”, she fell to her knees and fell down the stairs.

The person closest to her screamed in fear.

“Ah! How did Dale’s legs become like this?”
