Chapter 1

My husband Logan Carter died in a car accident while trying to buy strawberries for me. His body was never found.

At the funeral, I was in unbearable pain when a group of debt collectors barged in.

It was then that I found out Logan had millions in debts.

Feeling guilty and in tears, I accepted the debts and decided to honor Logan's memory by paying them off.

First, I donated a kidney to my mother-in-law Annie who had cancer.

Then, I sold my house and car to repay a portion of the debts.

In order to ensure Annie's happiness in her old age and to clear the remaining debts.

For over a decade, I toiled tirelessly to make ends meet.

But as I lay dying.

My supposedly deceased husband Logan returned home with a beautiful woman.

I then realized that Logan had faked his death years ago!

Open your eyes again.

I found myself back on the day of Logan's fatal car accident.

One:

"Olivia, wait at home. You'll get to enjoy the freshest strawberries this afternoon."

"That's why I love you. If it were someone else's husband, who would be this good? Strawberries are so expensive now. Many pregnant women can't afford to eat them."

Logan said as he put on his shoes with his back to me.

Listening to his words, I turned abruptly to look at myself in the mirror. The person in the mirror was healthy and young, nothing like the person who had been tormented by creditors, my mother-in-law, Annie, and my sister-in-law, Lilian, for over a decade.

I took a few deep breaths and accepted the fact that I had been reborn!

In my previous life, Logan had used the excuse of buying strawberries to emotionally manipulate me, telling me how good he was to me and how much he loved me. At that time, I was foolish and deeply moved.

Little did I know that in the afternoon, instead of enjoying the strawberries, I received a call from the traffic police.

It turned out that Logan had gotten into a car accident on the road, and the vehicle had careened off a cliff and exploded, leaving no trace of his body.

After a thorough search, the police only found a little finger.

After the funeral, a lawyer informed me that I was Logan's sole heir. Thinking about how good Logan had been to me.

I was overwhelmed with grief and almost wanted to follow him.

Before I could do anything, numerous creditors stormed in, demanding money from me. The total sum exceeded two million.

As I hesitated, Annie and Lilian pointed at me at the funeral, blaming me for insisting on eating strawberries and causing Logan's death.

I felt deeply guilty and promised to repay Logan's debts, vowing to honor him in my heart.

So I sold off my pre-marital property to repay a portion of the debts. However, Annie was diagnosed with kidney failure and needed a transplant to survive.

Two:

By chance, I was a suitable donor, so I found myself on the operating table, donating a kidney with a sense of atonement.

In the following years, I lived as if in a nightmare. The pressure of the debts left me breathless, and Annie and Lilian didn't work, relying on me for support and often resorting to verbal and physical abuse.

If I didn't comply with their demands, they would cry and say, "You killed Logan, and now you want to kill us too?"

This went on for over a decade, and I had almost cleared the debts when I reached the end of my life.

I didn't fear death; instead, I smiled, knowing that at least in the afterlife, I could face Logan without any regrets.

But I didn't die. Instead, I saw Logan entering the house with a beautiful woman, holding hands with a child who looked about ten years old.
