Chapter 7

After leaving the Allen family, I found a hotel and lay there for half a month in a row. It's fake to say that I'm not sad.

When my friend heard about my situation, he came all the way from the neighboring province to visit me.

I made an appointment with her at the coffee shop.

"Did you hear that Daniel's mistress is pregnant? Is it true or not?"

"Yeah."

"But isn't Daniel...?" My friend gestured twice, suddenly realizing.

"The child isn't Daniel's?"

My face looked ugly for a moment, but I still nodded.

As early as six years ago, Daniel lost his fertility.

That's also the reason why I haven't mentioned the child for these years.

Besides me, the only person who knows about this is my friend who is a doctor.

I felt sorry for Daniel at that time, and I was afraid of hurting his self-esteem, so I didn't tell him about this.

"What are you going to do?"

I looked at the coffee absentmindedly and said after a while, "Whether he gets divorced or not is his own business, and I won't interfere."

Although I no longer have feelings for Daniel, and even have some resentment, the past feelings were not fake, and I don't want to ruin his expectations for the child.

"Let it be like this, sometimes not knowing is a kind of happiness."

My friend nodded without saying anything.

Just then, a figure suddenly walked over.
