After I Died, My Wife Went Crazy Begging Me to Return Chapter 1

I fell from an unfinished building with my wife's childhood neighbor, Bruce Linton.

My wife Molly Valentine completely ignored me, crying and begging the doctor to save Bruce first.

My wife said that I was usually strong and could wait for another doctor.

But she didn't know that after I fell, a steel bar pierced my body and I died in the cold hospital without timely treatment.

I thought Molly couldn't wait to be with Bruce after she knew I was dead.

Later, when she saw my body in the morgue, she fell to her knees in a frenzy begging me to come back...

--

It was the 7th day after my death.

I watched my wife, in the room of her childhood neighbor and company partner, Bruce, carefully feeding him soup.

Bruce choked, and Molly wiped his mouth with tenderness.

"Bruce, don't be in a hurry. Drink slowly."

"Thank you for taking care of me, Molly."

Bruce's big hand caressed Molly's hand, his eyes filled with tenderness.

My soul stood beside Molly. Watching her being sweet with this so-called partner disregard my life, I felt a rush of blood welled up in my chest and I couldn't help but tremble with anger.

"It's all Justin's fault that he wanted to inspect that building, causing you to fall from the third floor and take seven days to recover!" Molly said angrily.

"Bruce, I will give you an explanation. When Justin comes back, I will make him apologize to you."

Molly's words made me feel extremely sarcastic.

It was Bruce who insisted on taking me and her to inspect the unfinished building, saying that we could make a fortune by taking over it.

Between Bruce and me, Molly had always trusted her partner only. No matter how I explained, I was small-minded and jealous of Bruce.

"Molly, please don't blame Justin when he comes back. It's all my fault. After I fell, Justin came and pulled me up. Don't let your relationship be strained because of my mistake. I don't want to see you in a difficult situation."

Bruce's voice was gentle. As soon as he frowned, Molly immediately became nervous and asked about his feelings.

That day, it was the same. After both Bruce and me fell down the stairs, Molly cried and begged the doctor to save Bruce first. As for me, she just glanced at me casually.

I remember she said, "Justin, you are physically stronger than Bruce. Wait for the other doctors."

I really wanted to laugh, but I couldn't. I wondered if Molly would still let me wait for other doctors if she saw the steel bar already inserted into my back, injuring my lungs.

Molly and Bruce grew up as neighbors and later ran a construction company together.

Molly and I fell in love when we were in college and got married. But everyone knew that she was closer to Bruce, who had grown up with her since childhood.

Because of this, I expressed my dissatisfaction many times as if I were the hidden mistress, but Molly never explained. She would only say that I was overthinking.

She also said that she had always treated Bruce as a brother. If I insisted on thinking of them in that way, then she couldn't do anything about it.

Because of Bruce, we had countless arguments.

"Bruce, we have known each other since we were young. I know your character and trust you, so I will never let you suffer and I won't allow Justin to harm you."

"Justin has been suspicious and very narrow-minded recently. He always doubts the relationship between us. I've had enough of him. He doesn't act like a man at all. If we want to be together, will it have been his turn to show up?"

Molly impatiently said, "Bruce, I don't understand why Justin is so immature. If he is half as stable as you are, I will be grateful."

"Molly, that's just how Justin is. Even when I talk to you about work, he warns me not to get too close to you. Sigh! Although this is a sign that he cares about you, he really doesn't trust you."

Bruce often spoke ill of me in front of Molly.

What was hateful was that Molly couldn't see that he was trying to sow discord between us, just as she couldn't see that I was already in critical condition at that time.

At that time, I grabbed Bruce who was sliding down rapidly, but he dragged me down and a small piece of steel bar pierced into my body.

When I was taken to the hospital, I didn't even have the strength to speak.

At that moment, I wished Molly would turn around and look at me.

But she didn't. Instead, she cried and shouted for the doctor to save Bruce, leaving me in the cold hospital with blood flowing all over the floor.

No one cared about me. A nurse urgently looked for my family, but Molly had already left with the ambulance that transferred Bruce to another hospital.

I didn't wait for her to look back until I died.

God said that I had an obsession, so I couldn't go to heaven.

I didn't know how much longer I had to watch Molly and Bruce in tenderness.

During these seven days, Molly had been taking care of Bruce closely, never realizing that she had a husband waiting for her to bring him home in the cold morgue.

When she once again coaxed Bruce to sleep, she walked out of Bruce's bedroom, took out her phone with a cold face, and sent me a message.
