Every day, I trained my strength by bending iron bars, breaking several each day.

Now, staring into their fearful eyes, I raised the whip.

“Just give her some basic treatment.”

He didn’t want to alert my parents, so he stepped out to make a phone call.

They didn’t know that after years in the mental hospital, I’d developed a resistance to anesthetics.

As soon as Ava left, I opened my eyes and pretended to remain unconscious.

Ava leaned close to my ear and hissed smugly.

“Olivia, you’re finished. Just wait to be kicked out!”

I was wheeled out into the living room, where a wealthy, imposing woman stood.

Noah bowed and groveled before her.

“Mom, there was an unexpected fire at the bar and Olivia just happened to be inside…”

The woman strode over and slapped me across the face.

“I knew you were a slut who couldn’t behave. You seduced men before marriage and nearly ruined yourself. Even while pregnant, you went to bars for thrills! Our Carter Family doesn’t need such a shameless daughter-in-law!”

I was dazed, speaking softly, “Mom, I’m innocent…”

Noah frowned. “Mom, Olivia almost died in the fire. She lost the baby. She’s already suffered. Please don’t scold her anymore.”

He held my hand, for once showing a rare trace of concern.

“As long as you know you were wrong, that’s enough. Once you recover, we’ll have more children.”

Behind us, Ava’s eyes flashed with jealousy.

“But... the doctor just said my sister was too reckless and now her uterus is damaged. She can never have children again...”

“What?!” Noah’s mother snatched the diagnosis form. Her voice sharpened.

“Noah, divorce her immediately and marry Ava for your older brother!”

Seeing him hesitate, she cried out,

“Your older brother is already dead. Are you going to let the Carter Family line die with him?”

My chest tightened.

So, they had always treated my sister this way?

Letting her be framed and tortured by Ava’s schemes.

Calling her a slut, throwing her away like garbage.

But it was Noah who destroyed her!

My eyes turned red as I looked at him.

“I became like this because of you…You promised to protect me for life, Noah.”

“Olivia, I have to think about the Carter family. I promise, I won’t divorce. The child I have with Ava, we’ll let you raise it, okay?”

My expression darkened. My gaze sharpened with bloodlust.

I threw off the blanket, stood up and walked toward the villa’s entrance.

Under their shocked stares, I locked the door and smashed the security system with my fists.

Noah’s face went pale as he stared at my blood-soaked hand.
