After Guest-starring In 36 Dramas, I Became Popular
Chapter 3
After the introductions, the first round began. The director announced that each contestant would start with an initial budget of 60 dollars.
The task for the first round was to prepare ingredients for one day's dinner.
The program invited a Michelin chef to cook whatever the contestants chose.
We could also exchange ingredients with the program team or complete tasks assigned by the team.
After explaining the rules.
The director looked at me and Bryant with ill intentions.
Then continued, "Today, due to the damage caused by Lilian and Bryant to the filming location, 50 points will be deducted from each of them. We hope everyone takes this as a lesson."
Under my and Bryant's incredulous gazes.
The director turned around and left without a hint of hesitation.
Here, the barrage of comments came.
[Wow, look at their expressions! Quick, capture it and use it as a profile picture!]
[Using anything as a profile picture will only be bad.]
[I suspect that the director is cursing them, and I have evidence.]
[Please don't doubt it. The director almost carved "idiot" on their faces.]
Amidst the laughter and cheers from the crowd, only Bryant and I were left, wounded.
"Okay, okay, okay," I said. "So this is how it's going to be? How about we exchange all our points for steamed bread? Four steamed buns should be enough for a fortnight, right?"
After I finished speaking, Bryant pondered for a moment and agreed to my suggestion.
Then.
We were slapped in the face by the program team.
Even the cheapest steamed bread cost 6 points each, and the two of us couldn't afford four steamed breads.
