After Divorcing the Scumbag, I had Six Babies
Chapter 6
The next day, he looked at the bite marks on his shoulder and smiled bitterly, "Look, what you've done to me."
I blushed and hid under the covers.
Just then, a servant came over and reminded us to go and greet my parents-in-law.
After getting dressed, David accompanied me to go.
My mother-in-law was very easygoing and gave me a talisman.
She said she specially went to the temple on the mountain to get it for me, before I married David.
I felt valued for the first time.
She might be worried that I would have a mishap like David's previous wives.
But that meant she cared about me.
I carefully put away the talisman. As soon as I got out, David held my hand.
In broad daylight, I immediately wanted to take it back.
His expression remained calm, without any change, but he held my hand tighter.
We should go for breakfast, but David pulled me back into the room.
He was calm and indifferent. He pressed me against the door as soon as we entered. I knew he wanted me again.
"Honey, it's already dawn..."
"So what if it's dawn?" he asked me in a deep voice, burying his face in my shoulder.
I went to grab the falling skirt, "They may make fun of us."
He picked me up and said, "Darling, don't worry. This is the Yules' Mansion. Who dares to laugh at us?"
His words made me somewhat fascinated.
This was the Yules' Mansion...
By the time I reacted, my clothes had all fallen to the ground.
I had just slept for a short while after staying up almost the whole night last night.
David seemed like a wild beast. I couldn't stay away from him no matter what, so I had little energy even during the day.
He, on the other hand, was full of vitality every day, while I was the one who had been drained of energy.
He was usually very indifferent and stern, so the servants in the mansion were extremely afraid of him.
He was very different when we were in bed at night.
A few months passed in a blink of an eye. Maybe because he couldn't get enough of me, I felt exhausted every day. Sometimes, I could hardly get out of bed.
My mother-in-law was worried and came to visit me on her own initiative.
Her eyes were full of sorrow, worrying the bad luck would fall on me again.
David hurriedly brought the doctor in, sat down sideways, and held me in his arms.
The doctor took my pulse while asking about my symptoms.
The maid waiting on the side replied, "Mrs. Yule has been unable to eat these days, and she feels extremely nauseous. She feels drowsy all day and constantly wants to sleep."
My mother-in-law anxiously asked the doctor, "What should we do, Dr. Zane? You must come up with a solution..."
I also tightened my heart, afraid that I couldn't really escape from death.
The atmosphere in the room was extremely oppressive.
Dr. Zane withdrew his hand and sighed lightly. I thought he was going to say that there was no hope for me, but to my surprise, he smiled and said, "Mrs. Yule is pregnant!"
"What?
Pregnant?"
