Feedback

to notify cases of non-compliance with accessibility requirements, reports should be sent via email to accessibilita@aeronautica.difesa.it .

Reports must include the following details:

· first and last name,

· e-mail address,

· URL of the web page or sections of the site subject to the report,

· clear and concise description of the problem encountered,

· tools used (operating system, browser, assistive technologies).

Meteo Aeronautica APP is designed to provide the user with the following features:

Home page

• Personalized home page to include up to four favorite locations

• Geolocalized forecasts based on the location of the device

• Hourly weather forecasts up to five days on the main meteorological parameters – atmosphere, precipitation, humidity, pressure, and wind

Satellite

• Different types of satellite images and post-processing of high-definition satellite data

• Satellite data combined with the lightning detection network of Aeronautica Militare

Map

• Forecast map for Italy with animations showing the evolution of various atmospheric parameters over time and space (precipitation, wind, cloud cover, etc.)

• Point forecasts for the entire national territory and worldwide

Explore

• Information area with multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, and other multimedia content

• Feature to enable notifications for new publications

Aviation Meteorology

• Aviation observations on airports around the world (METAR)

• Aviation forecasts on airports around the world (TAF)

Significant weather forecasts

• Indication of significant events based on alerts issuing

• Feature to enable notifications for significant events alerts

Preferences

• Setting of up to 4 favorite locations
