Detention — уникальная атмосферная игра ужасов, на которую сильное влияние оказала тайваньская/восточноазиатская культура (отсылки к даосизму и буддизму), основанная на военном положении на Тайване в 1960-х годах.
С помощью простого механизма point-and-click игрок управляет персонажами, которые отправляются в школу, охваченную враждебными сверхъестественными событиями, чтобы раскрыть истории, скрывающиеся за местом с привидениями.
